Crankcase Ventilation System - Changed

MODIFICATION OF CRANKCASE VENTILATION SYETEM

From engine number 139320 (approximately chassis number 854 098900) a modified crankcase ventilation has been implemented into production. A hose was added from the oil trap to the cylinder head. Only the later type of cylinder heads and engines are available as replacement parts.

Replacing Cylinder Head or Engine
When replacing a cylinder head or engine, the crankcase ventilation must be upgraded to the later type.

^ The later type of oil trap has to be installed when replacing a cylinder head.
^ A hose has to be installed from the oil trap to the cylinder head.
^ A new ignition wire kit with a longer wire must be installed.
