Sound insulation of pillars


On cars without sunroofs, special seals (p/n 6817640-3) must be installed as sound insulation when replacing the following body side components:

1. Windshield pillar (A-post)
2. Door pillar (B-post)
3. Rear "dog-leg" panel





An adhesive surface is provided to simplify attachment of the seal and prevent it from slipping.

Note:
Remove existing seals before carrying out hot work on these components.
