Linkage adjustment between trunk lock and lock cylinder

This bulletin describes a modified procedure for adjusting the link between the trunk lock and the lock cylinder.

Please enter the following note (preferably in red) on page 24 of the above referenced service manual, "See SB 83-805".





Procedure

Open trunk and turn key to service position.





Pull back panel on right-hand side to expose lock mechanism.

Open clip in link between lock and lock cylinder.

Free link (A) from clip.





Pull both sections of link towards each other (see arrows in illustration), place together and secure in position with clip.

Test operation of lock.

Install panel.
