Diagnostic Trouble Code 1-1-3
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) 1-1-3Voltage feed to 9T
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) 1-1-3 is obtained when the selector is switched from OFF to ON or vice versa; or, alternatively if the brake or clutch pedal is depressed while the selector is set to ON.
If the trouble code is not obtainable in any position, the voltage is either constantly high (battery voltage 12 V) or low (0V).
Check first that there is voltage to the selector. If any of the trouble codes 1-3-1, 1-2-3, or 2-1-3 are given, it shows there is voltage to the selector. If none of the above codes are obtainable, check voltage to the selector.
If any of the above codes, 1-3-1,1-2-3 or 2-1-3 are blinked: check if there is voltage from the pedal valve power connector to terminal 9T in the control module plinth.
Voltage feed
Check that fuse 28 for 15-feed is sound. Remove steering wheel covers which are held in place by Torx-screws, T15 above and T25 below.
Checking voltage to selector
Ignition ON.
Voltmeter connected between ground and terminal 2 in the connector for the selector, should show battery voltage.
In the event of a fault: check wire leading to selector and that fuse 28 is still intact.
Check voltage selector, position ON
There is voltage: connect voltmeter between ground and terminal 1 on selector connector. In the ON position, there should be battery voltage.
If not, try with another selector.
Checking electric circuit to control module
Power connector brake and clutch pedals
Check voltage at power connector for brake and clutch pedals. If there is voltage entering but not exiting, adjust.
If voltage is missing, check wire from selector to brake/clutch pedals.
Adjusting brake and clutch switches
The power connectors for brake and clutch pedals are self-adjusting, but this may need checking.
Depress pedal so the power connector is released. Pull the power connector push rod out as far as it goes. Then release the pedal slowly so it pushes the push rod back to adjusted position.
Voltage to control module terminal 9T
Remove cover from fuses and relays in the engine house. Remove the control module of the cruise control.
Ignition ON. Selector set to ON
Voltmeter between ground and 9T in the control module base should show battery voltage.
In the event of a fault: check wire leading to the power connector for the pedal valves.
