Filling of Storage Container With Refrigerant From Unit

NOTE:
- Procedure for use only if several car A/C systems have been drained and no refilling has been carried out (i.e drainage unit is full of refrigerant).
- Use only approved gas bottles. Container (bottle ) must not be overfilled. Fill only to 80% of stated capacity to allow for thermal expansion of gas.
Filling Of Storage Container (Gas Bottle) From RHS 3000
1. Connect unit to grounded supply.
2. Close MAIN SWITCH (10).
3. Connect hose (18) from unit to gas bottle. Open HIGH PRESSURE cock (15) and cock (30) on storage bottle.
4. Press CHARGING (2) push-button. Unit will now drain cylinder automatically to container (gas bottle) (31). Close cock (30) on container (bottle) when drainage has been completed.
5. Press RECOVERY/RECLAIM (4) push-button. Hose will now be emptied automatically.
6. Check that all hose and pipe fittings in A/C system have been tightened to correct torque.
