EGR Upper Pipe Check

Fig. 169 CHECKING UPPER E.G.R. PIPE:

- Check that E.G.R. upper pipe is provided with a dimple (arrow) at sender mounting point. If not, pipe must be replaced.
- Disconnect sender and insert blank end of a 5.5mm(7/32") dia. drill bit in tap hole. Fig. 169.
- If less than approx. 20 mm of bit enters hole, upper E.G.R. pipe must be replaced with new pipe with P/N:
