Ambient Temperature Sensor, A/C

Removal:





1. Remove panel below glove box.
2. Remove glove box.





NOTE: To prevent damage to connector, care should be taken when disconnecting it from sensor. See illustration.





3. Remove connector from sensor and retaining screws.
4. Remove sensor.
5. Check Sensor

NOTE: Sensor resistance drops with increasing temperature.

^ Ignition should be switched OFF. Use ohmmeter. Carry out measurement at room temperature approx. 2O-23 °C (68-73 °F).
^ Resistance: 30 - 40 Ohms.
^ If resistance is much higher: 65 - 100 Ohms, replace sensor.

Installation:








1. Install sensor and connect leads to the sensor.
2. Install glove box.





3. Instal panel under glove box.
