Blower Override Switch: Testing and Inspection

NOTE: It is important that the electrical lead be connected at all times since the blower will otherwise not start until the interior temperature is approx. 18 °C (64 °F).





Checking Switch
Use voltmeter/ammeter 951 0061. Temperature switch should conduct current only if temperature exceeds approx. 35 °C (95 °F).
Switch should open at not less than 10 °C (50 °F) when cooling.
