Removal

1. Disconnect gearshift lever cover.





2. Disconnect connector. To gain access, remove left side panel of center console.





3. Bend a steel wire to shape as shown. (early)





4. Position steel wire. Insert the bent steel wire between floor insulation and transmission tunnel on right side.





5. Gain access to back-up light switch. Raise vehicle on hoist (early). Remove back-up light switch.
