Frequency Valve: Description and Operation

The frequency valve effects fuel flow by influencing the pressure on the underside of a diaphragm in the pressure regulating valves. The frequency valve operates on a pre-determined electrical frequency and by the varying of the duty cycle. The operation of the valve can be checked by measuring the duty cycle with a dwell meter. The frequency valve is located on a bracket behind the fuel distributor on the left side of the engine.
