Rear Final Drive Gear Oil Level, Checking

For the gear oil specification, refer to the Fluid Capacity Tables.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque Wrench (5-50 Nm) (V.A.G 1331)

- Remove the plug - arrow - from the rear final drive.






The level is correct when the rear final drive is filled up to the lower edge of the hole - arrow -.

- Install the plug - arrow - with a new seal.
