Gaskets, Seals and O-rings

• Replace the O-rings, sealing rings and seals.

• Once a seal or gasket has been removed, check the contact surface on the housing or shaft for burrs and damage and repair as necessary.

• Before installing a sealing ring, apply a thin coating of transmission fluid to the periphery and the sealing lip depending on the installed location.






• Only use transmission fluid in the transmission fluid area. Other types of lubricants cause faults to occur in the transmission hydraulics.

• The open side of the seal faces the fluid.
