Fender Brace

Fender Brace

• Removing and installing the left fender brace is described here. Removing and installing the right fender brace is identical.

Removing

- Remove the front bumper cover.

- Remove the guide from the front bumper cover. Refer to => [ Front Bumper Cover Guides and Bracket Assembly Overview ] Front Bumper Cover Guides and Bracket Assembly Overview.

- Remove the headlamp carrier plate bolt on the fender brace - 2 -.






- Remove the nut that attaches the front fender to the fender brace - 2 -. Refer to => [ Front Fender Assembly Overview ] Front Fender Assembly Overview.

- Remove the bolts - 1 - and the fender brace - 2 -.

Installation

- Install the fender brace - 2 -.






Tightening specification - 2 -: 6 Nm

- Install the nut that attaches the front fender to the fender brace - 2 -. Refer to => [ Front Fender Assembly Overview ] Front Fender Assembly Overview.

- Install the headlamp carrier plate bolt - 2 -. .

- Install the guide profile to the front bumper cover. Refer to => [ Front Bumper Cover Guides and Bracket Assembly Overview ] Front Bumper Cover Guides and Bracket Assembly Overview.

- Install the front bumper cover.

- Align the fender brace and the fender to the hood and bumper.
