Front Door

• The following describes removing and installing the right door only. Removing and installing the left door is identical.

Removing






- Remove the lower A-pillar trim on the right side..

- Disconnect the connector behind the door.

- Press on the catch - arrow a - and remove the boot - 2 - from the A-pillar.

- Remove the bolt - 3 - from the door strap - 4 -.

- Push the door strap - 4 - toward the inside - arrow b -.

- Remove the caps - 5 - from the bolts - 6 -.

- Loosen the bolts - 6 - on the hinges but do not remove them all the way.

- Lift the door - 1 - up - arrow c - out of the hinges - 7 -.

Installation






Install in reverse order of removal.

Bolt - 3 - tightening specification: 30 Nm.

Tightening specification - 6 -: 23 Nm

- Adjust the door. Refer to => [ Door Adjustment ] Door Adjustment.

- Make sure the front door gap dimensions are correct.
