Window Regulator

• Removing and installing the left window regulator is described here. Removing and installing the right window regulator is identical.

Removing






- Remove the door window. Refer to => [ Door Window ] Door Window.

- Remove the window regulator motor. Refer to => [ Window Regulator Motor ] Window Regulator Motor.

- Release the hooks on the cable reel - arrows a - and push it into the door.

- Remove the cap on the underside of the door.

- Remove the nuts - 2 - from the underside of the door.

- Loosen the top nuts - 2 - (do not remove them), slide them together with the window regulator in direction of - arrow b - and push them into the door.

- Swivel the window regulator - 1 - with the cable reel out through the opening in the door.

Installation






- Insert the window regulator - 1 - with the cable drum through the opening in the door.

- Insert the upper threaded pins and nuts - 2 - through the door panel and move them in the direction of - arrow a -.

- Always insert the threaded pins on the window regulator through the door panel.

- Install the nuts - 2 - on the underside of the door and tighten all of the nuts - 2 -.

Nut - 2 - tightening specification: 8 Nm

- Insert the guides on the cable reel through the door panel until the hook engage - arrows b -.

- Install window regulator motor. Refer to => [ Window Regulator Motor ] Window Regulator Motor.

- Install the door window. Refer to => [ Door Window ] Door Window.
