Electric Drive Power and Control Electronics Cover Panel

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1331)

Removing the cover panel for the electric drive power and control electronics is a part of the disabling the high voltage system.

Read and follow the High Voltage Electrical System General Warnings. Refer to => [ High Voltage Electrical System General Warnings ] Service Precautions.

Removal

- Remove the cover in the engine compartment on the left side.

- Remove the 3 bolts - 4 - and nuts - 5 - and remove the high voltage connection cover panel from the electric drive power and control electronics.






Installation

- Mount the high voltage connection cover panel on the electric drive power and control electronics and tighten the 3 bolts - 4 - to 9 Nm.






- Tighten the nuts - 5 - to 9 Nm.
