Storage Compartment Illumination L120

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Removal Wedge (3409)

• When removing and installing components in a visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), mask off the areas at which a prying tool ( (3409) , screwdriver) will be positioned, using commercially available adhesive tape.

Removing

- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and move the ignition key or start button into the 0 position (preliminary engaged position).

- Carefully remove trim - 1 -.






- Remove bolts - arrows -.






- First pull panel toward rear in - direction of arrow 1 -, then upward in - direction of arrow 2 - and remove panel.






- Unclip harness connector - 2 -, disengage it and disconnect connector.






- Unclip Storage Compartment Illumination - 1 - and remove it with wire.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
