Rear Shelf without Sun Shade, Passat CC

• Removal of sun protection shade is performed when it is in a rolled in state.

Removing

- Remove the seat bench. Refer to => [ Seat Bench, Passat from MY 2006, Passat CC from MY 2009 and CC from MY 2010 ] Seat Bench, Passat from MY 2006, Passat CC from MY 2009 and CC from MY 2010

- Remove side upholstery:

• With rear side airbag: => [ Side Upholstery with Side Airbag ] Side Upholstery with Side Airbag

• without rear side airbags: => [ Side Upholstery without Side Airbag ] Side Upholstery without Side Airbag

- Remove C-pillar trim. Refer to => [ C-Pillar Trim, Vehicles without Sun Shade, Passat CC from MY 2009 and CC from MY 2010 ] C-Pillar Trim, Vehicles without Sun Shade, Passat CC from MY 2009 and CC from MY 2010

- Fold up the bracket - 3 -, open the cap - 1 -, remove the screw - 2 - (20 Nm) and remove the securing eye - 4 - from the rear shelf.

• When installing, make sure that the securing eye anti-twist mechanism is installed in the appropriate opening in the body - arrow -!






- Guide the right and left seat belt - 1 - through the rear shelf - 2 -.






- Remove the rear shelf first upward - arrows A - and then in the drive direction- arrows B - out of the mounts.






Installation

- To install, perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.
