Shock Absorber and Coil Spring Assembly Overview

1 Lower Spring Support

• Spring end rotated up to stop.

2 Assembly Aid

• Must not be used after removal.

3 Coil Spring

• Be aware of the various suspension versions, refer to => [ Vehicle Data Label ] Description and Operation.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Coil Spring ] All Wheel Drive (AWD).

4 Upper Spring Support

5 Bolt

• M14 x 1.5 x 70

• 180 Nm

6 Bolt

• M10 x 35

• 50 Nm + 45° turn

• Always replace after removal.

7 Shock Absorbers

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Shock Absorber ] All Wheel Drive (AWD).

• Be aware of the various suspension versions. Refer to => [ Vehicle Data Label ] Description and Operation.

9 Lower Transverse Link

10 Wheel Bearing Housing

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Wheel Bearing Housing ] All Wheel Drive (AWD).
