Brake System Vacuum Pump, Checking

During the start sequence the brake system vacuum pump (V192) must run briefly.

Work procedure

- Raise vehicle on a hoist, turn off engine.

- Start engine.

- A second person must check function of brake system vacuum pump (V192) by touch.

If brake system vacuum pump ( V192) does not start up:

- Check DTC memory of Engine Control Module (ECM).
