Turbocharger: Description and Operation

Turbocharger

• Various hose connections are secured.

• Charge air system must be properly sealed.

• Always replace self-locking nuts, seals, gaskets and clamps.

• Fill with engine oil before installing the turbocharger oil supply line on the connections.

• After installing the turbocharger, let the engine run at idle for approximately 1 minute. This ensures the turbocharger will have an adequate supply of oil.
