HID Headlamps Assembly Overview

• After performing work that can affect headlamp adjustment, check the adjustment and adjust if necessary.





1 Ventilation Hose

• On headlamp.

2 Left Headlamp Beam Adjustment Motor (V48) and Right Headlamp Beam Adjustment Motor (V49)

• Headlamp manufacturer: AL (Automotive Lighting).

• For initial removal of the Left Headlamp Beam Adjustment Motor (V48)/Right Headlamp Beam Adjustment Motor (V49), a repair kit is needed.

• Removing and installing, refer to --> [ HID Headlamp Range Control Positioning Motor ] HID Headlamp Range Control Positioning Motor.

3 Bolts

• For Left Headlamp Beam Adjustment Motor (V48)/Right Headlamp Beam Adjustment Motor (V49).

4 Cap

5 Igniter for Gas Discharge Lamps (N195)

6 Lamp Locking Device

• For Left High Intensity Gas Discharge (HID) Lamp (L13)/Right High Intensity Gas Discharge (HID) Lamp (L14).

7 Left High Intensity Gas Discharge (HID) Lamp (L13)/Right High Intensity Gas Discharge (HID) Lamp (L14)

• Type D2S, 35W.

• Replacing, refer to --> [ HID Lamp ] HID Headlamp Bulbs.

8 Bolt, 4 Nm

• On headlamp at top.

9 Headlamp

• Removing and installing, --> [ Headlamps ] Headlamps.

• Correcting installation position of headlamp, refer to --> [ Headlamp Installation Position, Correcting ] Headlamp Installation Position, Correcting.

• Servicing headlamp securing straps, refer to --> [ Headlamps Mounting Tabs, Repairing ] Headlamps Mounting Tabs, Repairing.

10 Headlamp Range Control Module (J431)

• Removing and installing, refer to --> [ Headlamp Range Control Module ] Service and Repair.

• Coding, refer to --> [ Headlamp Range Control Module, Coding ] Testing and Inspection.

• If the headlamp range control module (J431) is coded, then perform a basic setting on the headlamp.

11 Left Front Level Control System Sensor (G78)

• Removing and installing, refer to --> [ Level Control System Sensors ] Level Control System Sensors.

• Checking, refer to --> [ Level Control System Sensors, Checking ] Testing and Inspection.

12 Left Rear Level Control System Sensor (G76)

• Removing and installing, refer to --> [ Level Control System Sensors ] Level Control System Sensors.

• Checking, refer to --> [ Level Control System Sensors, Checking ] Testing and Inspection.

13 Adjustment Bushing

• Correcting installation position of headlamp, refer to --> [ Headlamp Installation Position, Correcting ] Headlamp Installation Position, Correcting.

14 Bolt, 4 Nm

• On headlamp at bottom.

15 Left High-intensity Gas Discharge Lamp Control Module (J343) and Right High-intensity Gas Discharge Lamp Control Module (J344)

• Not capable of On Board Diagnostic (OBD).

• Removing and installing, refer to --> [ HID Headlamp Control Modules ] Service and Repair.

16 Bolts

• For Left High-intensity Gas Discharge Lamp Control Module (J343)/Right High-intensity Gas Discharge Lamp Control Module (J344).

17 Left High Beam Headlamp Bulb (M30)/Right High Beam Headlamp Bulb (M32)

• Lamp H7U 12V, 55 W.

• Replacing, refer to --> [ High Beam Headlamp ] HID Headlamp Bulbs

18 Left Front Turn Signal Lamp (M5)/Right Front Turn Signal Lamp (M7)

• Lamp 12V, H2 WLL 21 W.

• Replacing, refer to --> [ Front Turn Signal Lamp ] HID Headlamp Bulbs.

19 Left Parking Lamp (M1)/Right Parking Lamp (M3)

• Lamp 12V, W 5 W.

• Replacing, refer to --> [ Parking Lamp ] HID Headlamp Bulbs.

20 Cap

• For Left Front Turn Signal Lamp (M5)/Right Front Turn Signal Lamp (M7)/Left Parking Lamp (M1)/Right Parking Lamp (M3)

21 Cap

• For Left High Beam Headlamp (M30)/Right High Beam Headlamp (M32)
