Transmission, Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal. However, the important steps here should be followed:

- Make sure the alignment sleeves are installed correctly between the engine and transmission.

- Position the transmission, possibly readjust transmission mount.

- Now, install a engine to transmission bolt.

- Install all engine to transmission bolts and tighten them to specification.

- Install the transmission mount bracket - 2 - to the transmission.






- Lift the engine and transmission, install the transmission mount to transmission mount bracket bolts - 1 - and tighten them to specification.






- Install the bevel box. Refer to=> [ Bevel Box ] Removal and Replacement.

- Adjust the selector lever cable. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Cable, Adjusting ] Adjustments.

Do not grease the cable.

- Replace the seals on the transmission fluid pipes.

- Check the transmission fluid level. Refer to => [ Transmission Fluid Level, Checking and Adding ] Transmission Fluid Level, Checking and Adding.

- Check the coolant level and fill if necessary.

- Connect the vehicle diagnostic tester.

- Press the perform basic setting button and perform a basic setting.

- Press the -> button.

- Press the -> button.

Tightening Specifications






1 - Direction of Travel

- Drive Plate to Converter

• 60 Nm

• Quantity: 6, remove and install using socket SW 15 (V/175)

- M12 Bolts

• 80 Nm

- M10 Bolts

• 40 Nm

• The bolts are located inside the lower flange
