Exhaust Manifold, Front Exhaust Pipe With Catalytic Converter And Front Muffler Assembly Overview
Front exhaust pipes with catalytic converters and front mufflers, removing and Installing.
1 - Connector
- Brown, 6-pin
2 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 2 G108, 50 Nm
- Bank 2, sensor 1
- Installed in the exhaust gas stream of cylinders 4, 5 and 6
- Grease thread only using G 052 112 A3 ; do not let G 052 112 A3 get onto slits of oxygen sensor body
- Use ring spanner set for oxygen sensor 3337 for removal and installation
3 - Securing nut
- Replace
- M8: 25 Nm
- M10: 40 Nm
4 - Connector
- Black, 6-pin
5 - Heated oxygen sensor G39, 50 Nm
- Bank 1, sensor 1
- Installed in the exhaust gas stream of cylinders 1, 2 and 3
- Grease thread only using G 052 112 A3 ; do not let G 052 112 A3 get onto slits of oxygen sensor body
- Use ring spanner set for oxygen sensor 3337 for removal and installation
6 - Oxygen Sensor (O2S) 2 behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) G131, 50 Nm
- Bank 2, sensor 2
- Installed in the exhaust gas stream of cylinders 4, 5 and 6
- Grease thread only using G 052 112 A3 ; do not let G 052 112 A3 get onto slits of oxygen sensor body
- Use ring spanner set for oxygen sensor 3337 for removal and installation
7 - Connector
- Black, 4-pin
8 - Connector
- Brown, 4-pin
9 - Oxygen sensor behind three way catalytic converter G130, 50 Nm
- Bank 1, sensor 2
- Installed in the exhaust gas stream of cylinders 1, 2 and 3
- Grease thread only using G 052 112 A3 ; do not let G 052 112 A3 get onto slits of oxygen sensor body
- Use ring spanner set for oxygen sensor 3337 for removal and installation
10 - Heat shield
11 - Intake manifold support
12 - 20 Nm
13 - Gasket
- Replace
14 - Exhaust manifold
15 - 25 Nm
- Replace
16 - Front muffler
17 - To middle muffler
18 - 25 Nm
19 - Suspended mount
- For front exhaust pipe at left and right
20 - Catalytic converter.
- Installed in exhaust stream of cylinder 1, 2 and 3 on right side as well as 4, 5 and 6 on left side
21 - Primary catalytic converter
- With flex joint
- Flex joints must not be bent more than 20 degrees - otherwise they may be damaged
- Installed in exhaust stream of cylinder 1, 2 and 3 on right side as well as 4, 5 and 6 on left side
