1 Expansion tank

• Perform leak test of cooling system with cooling system tester (VAG 1274) and adapter (VAG 1274/8).

2 Cap

• Check using cooling system tester (VAG 1274) and adapter (VAG 1274/9).

• Pressure release valve must open at a pressure of 1.4 to 1.6 bar.

3 Connector

4 Spring-type clip

• Check for secure seat.

5 Coolant hose

6 To coolant return flow pump junction piece

7 To coolant pipe

• Coolant pipe is secured below intake manifold.

8 Overflow hose

9 10 Nm

10 Coolant hose

11 To top coolant hose

12 8 Nm
