Location on Transmission

Transmission code letters are located at top on transmission, in vicinity of oil cooler.

Example for one transmission:





• GPX = transmission code letters

• 10.06.3 = Production date 10 June 2003

• 14 = Plant code

• 14 15 = Time

• 001 = Serial number

The transmission code letters are also listed on vehicle data plates.

• If these data plates are not present, a different transmission was installed than was intended or there is no possibility to identify the installed transmission with certainty, read the code letters directly from the transmission.
