Fuel Rail, Injectors and Pipes Overview, through 05.06

CAUTION!
Follow the safety measures for releasing the high side fuel pressure. Refer to => [ High Side Fuel Pressure, Releasing ] Service and Repair.





1 Cylinder 1 Fuel Injector (N30) to Cylinder 4 Fuel Injector (N33)

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fuel Injectors ] Fuel Injectors.

2 Bolt

8 Nm

3 Fuel Rail

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fuel Rail ] Fuel Rail.

4 Plate Nut

5 Pressure Relief Valve

30 Nm

To remove and install, remove the intake manifold. Refer to => [ Intake Manifold ] Intake Manifold.

6 Low Pressure Pipe

Tighten the union nut to 22 Nm.

Counter hold the pressure relief valve when removing.

Check the tightening specification for the pressure relief valve before installation.

Do not install when under tension.

7 Bracket

8 High Pressure Pipe

Tighten the union nut to the high pressure pump to 27 Nm

Tighten the union nut to the fuel rail to 27 Nm

Do not install when under tension.

9 Connector

For the fuel injectors.

10 Bolt

5 Nm

11 Fuel Pressure Sensor (G247)

22 Nm

Lubricate the threads and sealing point with clean engine oil.

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fuel Pressure Sensor ] Service and Repair.

Checking, refer to => [ Fuel Pressure Sensor, Checking ] Testing and Inspection.
