Rear Window Opening Button E361, Removing And Installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required







- Torque wrench VAG 1331 (or 5 - 50 Nm equivalent)

Removing:
- Remove rear window wiper arm.







- Remove nut -1 -.
- Open rear window, rear window emergency release.







- Release cap -1- in direction of - arrow - from retainers and remove it.







- Push insulation -1- to the side in direction of - arrow - exposing electrical connection.







- Disconnect electrical connection - arrow







- Remove nuts - arrows -.
- Remove lock bracket -1- and wiper shaft with crank -2-.
- Remove Rear Window Opening Button E361.

Installing:
Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:







- Torque nuts - arrows - according to value in table.







- Torque nut -1- according to value in table.

- Install wiper arm.
