Fuel Tank With Assembly Components, Disassembling And Assembling







1. Fuel filler tube
2. To EVAP canister
3. Fuel tank
- Discharge
4. Flange
- Left side
- To remove fuel tank, fuel tank may only be half full.
- Note installation position at fuel tank, see Fig. 2
- With fuel filter: Fuel filter, disassembling and assembling.
5. Locking ring, 145 Nm
- Use wrench T10202 to remove and install
- Check for secure seating
6. Fuel pump (FP) unit
- Left side
- Checking Fuel Pumps (FP).
7. Fuel Level Sensor 3 -G237-
- Left side
- Is clipped in at bottom of container
8. Vacuum booster
- Left side
- Is clipped in at bottom of container
9. Protective cover
- For fuel tank, bottom
10. Tension strap
- Note installed position
- Check for secure seating
11. 20 Nm plus an additional 1/4 turn (90 degrees )
12. Protective cover
- For fuel tank, top
13. Vacuum booster
- Right side
- Is clipped in at bottom of container
14. Fuel pump (FP) unit
- Right side
- Checking Fuel Pumps (FP).
15. Sender for fuel gauge -G-
- Right side
- Is clipped in at bottom of container
16. Flange
- Right side
- With gravity valve
- To remove fuel tank, fuel tank may only be half full.
- Note installation position at fuel tank, see Fig. 2
- Individual components, see Fig. 3
- With fuel pressure regulator: checking fuel pressure regulator., checking fuel pressure regulator and residual pressure
17. Ventilation line
- Check for secure seating
18. Expansion tank
19. Gravity valve
20. To pressure retaining valve

- Install flange left or right with marking in direction of travel (arrow).

1. Electrical connection for Fuel Pump (FP) and sender for fuel gauge
2. Fuel pressure regulator (4 bar)
- checking fuel pressure regulator and residual pressure
3. Ground (GND) wire
- Check for secure seating
4. Pressure regulator inlet (from fuel filter)
5. Connection to Fuel Pump (FP) unit right and left (without pressure)
6. Gravity valve
