Wiring Harness In Transmission, Removing and Installing



Wiring harness in transmission, removing and installing, 01V, 5 SPD. A/T (FWD)

Transmissions with hydraulic control Type E17

Removing
- Remove valve body.





- Using a small screwdriver, pry out retaining tabs on solenoid valve connectors, and pull off connectors -A- one after the other.
- Disengage wiring harness from retainers -B- on side of valve body.





- Turn valve body over, and unplug connector from sensor for transmission RPM -1-.
- Remove first retaining clip -arrow A- and unclip harness from second retaining clip -arrow B-.
- Pull connector -2- off solenoid valve -N91-.

Installing
Install in reverse order but note following:

- When installing the harness, plug the connectors onto the respective solenoid valves.
- Clip the harness into the retaining clips provided. If not installed correctly, the harness can be trapped when the valve body is installed.
- Install valve body.
- Fill with ATF; check ATF level and top off.

Transmissions with hydraulic control Type E18/2

Removing
- Remove valve body.





- Using a small screwdriver, pry out retaining tabs on solenoid valve connectors, and pull off connectors -A- one after the other.
- Disengage wiring harness from retainers -B- on side of valve body.





- Turn valve body over onto back and remove connector from pressure control valve 1 (-N125-) -1-.
- Remove first retaining clip -arrow A- and unclip harness from second retaining clip -arrow B-.

Installing
Install in reverse order but note following:
- When installing the harness, plug the connectors onto the respective solenoid valves.
- Clip the harness into the retaining clips provided. If not installed correctly, the harness can be trapped when the valve body is installed.
- Install valve body.
- Fill with ATF; check ATF level and top off.
