Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051:

^ Diagnosis wire VAS5051/1 or VAS5051/3

CAUTION:
^ When performing a road test secure the test and measuring equipment on the rear seat.
^ During the road test only one person may operate this equipment.





- Connect Vehicle diagnosis, testing information system VAS5051 to Data Link Connector (DLC) using VAS5051/1 or VAS5051/3 when ignition is switched off.





- Switch tester on - arrow -.
The tester is ready when an illustration (photograph) of a vehicle appears.

- Switch ignition on.
- Touch screen field/key: "Guided fault finding".
- Select following one after another:
^ Brand
^ Model
^ Model year
^ Variation
^ Engine code

- Confirm data entered.
Wait until the tester has read all the available control modules.

- Using Go to key, select "function/component selection".
- Now follow instructions on screen to start functions desired.
