Side Mounted Turn Signals In Rear View Mirror Housing, Removing and Installing

NOTE: New Beetle Convertible from m.y 2003 and Sedan from m.y 2004 have side mounted turn signals -1- integrated to mirror housing.







Removing

CAUTION:
- Switch off all electrical consumers.
- Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.

- Remove mirror housing







- Remove screw -1-.
- Unlock securing latch -2- manually by pushing it gently upwards.
- Remove turn signal by pushing it in towards the mirror housing.

Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.

NOTE: In case of damaged mirror housing and/or turn signals, both can be found as separate spare parts.
