Note: Lubricate bearings and contact surfaces with polycarbamide grease Part number G 052 142 A2

1. Selector lever knob
2. Sleeve
^ Engages in selector lever knob
^ Prevents removal of selector lever knob

3. Cover
^ With symbols inlay





4. Printed circuit board
^ Can be checked using VAS 5051 in "Guided fault finding".

5. Frame
^ With cover strip
^ Assembly overview

6. Shift mechanism
^ With integrated Tiptronic switch -F189-

7. Bolt, 6 Nm
^ Qty. 3





8. Locking element
9. Nut
10. Shift Lock Solenoid -N110-
^ Can be checked using VAS 5051 in "Guided fault finding".

11. Bolt
12. Oil seal
13. Locking cable
^ For ignition key removal lock
^ Do not kink
^ Checking operation of ignition key removal lock.





14. Selector lever cable
^ Do not bend or kink
^ If outer cable is damaged the selector lever cable must be replaced
^ Do not grease eye and ball socket

15. Cap
^ For shift mechanism
^ With bonded seal

16. Self-locking nut, 10 Nm
^ For cover to selector lever housing
^ Qty. 4
^ Always replace.
