The 6 Spd. Direct Shift Automatic Transmission 02E is installed in the New Beetle from 1999.





The transmission code can be found on bottom of transmission, near the oil cooler.

Example:
^ GPX = Transmission code
^ 10.06.3 = Production date 10 June 2003
The transmission code also appears on vehicle data stickers.
