Oil pump, removing and installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required





^ Torque wrench V.A.G 1331

Removing
- Remove oil pan and baffle plate.





- Remove bolt - 2 -.
- Pull chain sprocket off oil pump shaft.
- Remove bolts - 1 - and - 3 - and remove oil pump.

Installing
Installation is performed in the reverse sequence of removal. In the process, note the following:
^ Fit dowel sleeves on upper oil pan.
^ Installation position of oil pump shaft/chain sprocket: Installation possible in one position only.
