Selector mechanism and printed circuit board cover, removing and installing

Supplementary information

Removing
- Remove selector lever handle.
- Pull rod upward and move selector lever to position "P" with rod held in upward position.
- Switch ignition off.
- Remove center console.





- Disconnect printed circuit board connector -1-.
- Pull connection out of hole (arrow) in retainer -2-.





- Carefully pry up retaining lugs (arrows) (Qty 4).

Note: If the retaining lugs (arrows) are damaged the cover must be replaced complete.

- Remove selector mechanism cover upward complete.





- Take printed circuit board out of fastenings on frame (arrows).

Installing

Note: Make sure when installing the printed circuit board that the contacts are not damaged and that the printed circuit board is not bent.





- Position printed circuit board on fastenings on frame (arrows).





- Reconnect printed circuit board connector-1-.
- Clip connection into hole (arrow) in retainer-2-.





- Position cover carefully onto selector mechanism and lock in position using retaining lugs (arrows) (Qty 4).

Note: If the retaining lugs (arrows) are damaged the cover must be replaced complete.

- Install center console.
- Install selector lever handle.
