Retaining Plate For Rear Lid Remote Release Motor, Removing And Installing (Convertible)

Removing
- Remove rear lid trim







- Unclip pull rod - 4 - and - 6 - (USA).







- Disconnect harness connector - 17 -.
- Disconnect harness connector for micro switch - 12 - and unclip connector from retaining plate.
- Remove bolts - 11 -.
- Remove retaining plate - 15 -.
- Loosen bolts - 14 -.
- Remove motor - 16 -.

Installing
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
