Work sequence





^ Install old valve into corresponding guide. Due to slight differences in stem dimensions, make sure that an intake valve is used in intake guide and an exhaust valve in exhaust guide. End of valve stem must be flush with guide.
Valve rock: max. 1.3 mm

Note:
^ If the wear limit is exceeded, repeat the calculation with new valves. If the wear limit is still exceeded replace the cylinder head. Valve guides cannot be replaced.
^ If the valve is to be replaced as part of a repair, use a new valve for the calculation.
