Output shaft for axle flange grooved ball bearing, removing and installing
Special tools and auxiliary items
^ Puller sleeve 3378
^ Puller VAG 1582
^ Grip piece VAG 1582/10

Removing
^ Differential installed.
- Remove right axle flanged seal. Flanged Shaft Oil Seal, Replacing
- Pry out circlip for grooved ball bearing.





- Install M 12 x 20 bolt with washer in axle flange output shaft hole.
- Tension claws of grip piece VAG 1582/10 between balls on grooved ball bearing inner race.
- Pull out grooved ball bearing with puller VAG 1582.

Installing





- Pull in grooved ball bearing together with tapered ring and spring.
- Insert circlip for grooved ball bearing.
