Height adjustable column






Note:
The height-adjustable steering column cannot be disassembled. The steering column is to be replaced complete if there is damage to the column tube, column or universal joint.

place sleeve on column and tighten until firmly seated using a nut and washer

use only puller with a clamp, e.g. Kukko 204-2

Lock cylinder, removing/installing

Removing






remove steering column
remove steering column switch
insert ignition key in Ignition lock
mark dimension a = 12 mm (on line with key)
bore hole (approximately 3 mm diameter) through steenng lock housing until stop spring of lock cylinder is visible (hole depth = approximately 3 mm)
compress stop spnng with a punch and pull out lock cylinder with key

Installing

press lock cylinder into steering lock housing

Note: The lock cylinder can be pressed in to stop by gently turning the key in the lock cylinder.
