- Check for voltage at Data Link connectors in vehicle, observe polarity while performing this checks.

- If battery voltage is not obtained, check wiring using wiring diagram,or refer to VAG 1598 Pin Out Box/ Electrical Checks step 19.Repair or replace as necessary
