COIL WIRE
Wire (complete) resistance 1200 - 2800 ohms
Wire (only) resistance approx. 0 ohm
Cap connector resistance 600 - 1400 ohms
Coil connector resistance 600 - 1400 ohms

IGNITION COIL
Resistance between terminals 1 (-) and 15 (+) :
Coil W/ green label 0.52 - 0.76 ohms
Coil W/ gray label 0.6 - 0.8 ohms
Resistance between terminals 4 (center) and 15 (+) :
Coil W/ green label 3000 - 4000 ohms
Coil W/ gray label 6900 - 8500 ohms

IGNITION TIMING [1]
2250 ± 50 RPM Coolant temperature sensor disconnected
Checking 4° - 8° BTDC
Adjust to 6° - 1° BTDC


PLUG WIRES
Wire (complete) resistance 4600 - 7400 ohms
Wire (only) resistance approx. 0 ohm
Cap connector resistance 600 - 1400 ohms
Plug connector resistance 4000 - 6000 ohms

ROTOR
Resistance 600 - 1400 ohms



[1] Ignition timing, idle speed and CO need to be adjusted together to prevent driveablity problems. For complete procedure, refer to ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES.

For proper system operation and performance, fault codes must be recalled and erased from the Digifant control unit after making any adjustments. Refer to COMPUTERIZED ENGINE CONTROLS for procedure.
