Rear lid lock assembly



The rear lid lock assembly is now identical for vehicles both with, and without the central locking system.

Golf P/N: 191 827 571E Jetta P/N: 165 827 571C

Vehicles without central locking:

^ move white plastic piece (arrow) to right




Vehicles with central locking:

^ move white plastic piece (arrow) to left

Note

If the lock assembly is installed in a vehicle without central locking, and the white plastic piece is in the left side position instead of the right, the lock can only be opened when the key is inserted in the lock cylinder and turned fully to the right.
