Engine Starts Hard or Fails to Start Cold

Check the following:

1. Cold start valve

2. Thermo time switch

3. Fuel pump and fuse

4. Fuel pump relay

5. Air flow sensor plate rest position

6. Fuel pressure incorrect

7. Differential pressure regulator

8. Coolant temperature sensor and wiring [1]
