Window Defogger System (For Manual Air Conditioning System)

WINDOW / GLASS: WINDOW DEFOGGER SYSTEM (for Manual Air Conditioning System): TERMINALS OF ECU; 2013 MY Corolla [07/2012 -]

1. CHECK HEATER CONTROL (BLOWER SWITCH)

(a) Disconnect the E70 heater control (blower switch) connector.





(1) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:





* *1: for TMC Made

* *2: Except for TMC made

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

2. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK)

(a) Disconnect the 2F, 2G and 2Q instrument panel junction block connectors.





(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:





* *1: for TMC Made

* *2: Except for TMC made

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness or main body ECU (instrument panel junction block).
