C1203 - ECM Communication Circuit Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

The circuit is used to send TR(A)C and VSC control information from the skid control ECU to the ECM, and engine control information from the ECM to the skid control ECU through the CAN communication system.

1. CHECK PART NUMBER (ECM AND BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY)

(a) Check that the proper ECM and brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) are installed.

OK:

Proper ECUs are installed.

B -- REPLACE ECM (for 2ZR-FE) Removal

C -- REPLACE ECUS WITH PROPER ONES

A -- REPLACE ECM (for 2AZ-FE) Removal
