DESCRIPTION

If the rear LH side manual UP / DOWN function does not operate, a malfunction may exist in the rear power window regulator motor assembly LH, rear power window regulator switch assembly LH, power window regulator master switch assembly or wire harness.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Inspect the rear power window regulator switch assembly LH Rear Power Window Switch (for Hatchback).

NG -- REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY LH Removal (from 07/2011)
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Inspect the rear power window regulator motor assembly LH Hatchback Rear Door.

NG -- REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH Removal (from 07/2011)
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY LH - P/W RELAY)

(a) Disconnect the H10 rear power window regulator switch assembly LH connector.





(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY LH - REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH)

(a) Disconnect the H10 rear power window regulator switch assembly LH connector.

(b) Disconnect the H11 rear power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY LH - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY)

(a) Disconnect the H10 rear power window regulator switch assembly LH connector.

(b) Disconnect the G20 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal (from 07/2011)
