Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Testing and Inspection
HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING PRESSURE SENSOR (for Hatchback): ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
1. INSPECT AIR CONDITIONER PRESSURE SENSOR
(a) Check the wire harness.

(1) Disconnect the A60 air conditioner pressure sensor connector.
(2) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(3) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(4) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:
(b) Check the air conditioner pressure sensor.

(1) Set the manifold gauge.
(2) Connect the connector to the air conditioner pressure sensor.
(3) Warm up the engine.
(4) A/C switch on.
(5) Using a voltmeter, measure the voltage between connector terminals 7 (PRE) and 5 (SG-2) of the air conditioning amplifier assembly.
HINT
Check from the rear of the connector while it is connected to the air conditioning amplifier assembly.
