C50 MANUAL TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH (for Hatchback): REMOVAL

1. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP W/ AIR CLEANER HOSE Removal (from 07/2011)

2. SEPARATE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the clip A and washer, and then separate the control shift cable of transmission control cable assembly from the manual transaxle assembly.

(b) Remove the clip B and separate the control shift cable of transmission control cable assembly from the shift control cable bracket.

3. REMOVE BACK UP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY





(a) Separate the 2 clamps and disconnect the back up light switch assembly connector.

(b) Using SST, remove the back up light switch assembly from the manual transaxle assembly.

(c) Remove the gasket from the back up light switch assembly.
