Removal (from 07/2011)

INTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: REAR CONSOLE BOX (for Hatchback): REMOVAL

1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle)

(a) Turn the shift lever knob counterclockwise and remove the shift lever knob.





2. REMOVE SHIFTING HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle)

(a) Disengage the 6 claws and remove the shifting hole cover.





3. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX COVER

(a) Disengage the 6 claws.





(b) Disengage the guide and pull out the rear console box cover as shown in the illustration.

(c) Disconnect the connectors from the rear console box cover.

4. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CARPET

(a) Remove the console box carpet.





5. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the bolt.





(b) Disengage the 2 clips and guide and remove the rear console box.

NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the lower instrument panel when removing it.
